(DK) På en backpackertur gennem Amazonas er Penelope netop blevet dumpet af sin kæreste. Men da en pandemi tvinger dem til at isolere sig i et lille, indelukket hotelværelse i junglen, øjner hun en sidste chance for at vinde ham tilbage.

Badet i sved, tvivl, skyld, kærlighed og had flyder parret gennem de ensformige dage. Men da en mulighed for at rejse hjem dukker op, bliver Penelope tvunget til at konfrontere hendes indre usikkerheder og tilstanden af deres usunde forhold.

(ENG) Backpacking through the Amazonas, Penelope just got dumped by her boyfriend. But as a pandemic forces them to isolate in a tiny, sweltering hotel room in the jungle, Penelope eyes a last chance to win him back.

Bathed in sweat, doubt, guilt, love and hate, the ex-couple float bewildered through the days. But as an opportunity to fly back home emerges, Penelope is forced to confront her emotions and realise the actual state of their relationship.

The short film is inspired by the director's own experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. It seeks to give the audience a nuanced insight into a claustrophobic, surreal and heartbreaking situation where two people are stranded in a place, their relationship and their lives.
