Peter Salling is a director who combines character-driven narratives and meticulous art direction.

Raised in a musical household, Peter inherited his intuition, sensitivity and playfulness from his pianist parents. His approach to character is deeply psychological, rooted in insights and thorough research into real lived experiences, where he finds originality in the details and new perspectives. He constantly experiments with form and style, while always searching for a universal core,

He graduated as director from the alternative filmschool 18 FRAMES in summer 2024, Peter has recieved funding from the Danish Film Institute to research and develop his debut feature film. His narrative work has won awards at Odense International Film Festival and been selected to festivals like Tirana International Film Festival, Nordisk Panorama, Nordic Film Days Lübeck and the Short Film Market Picks at Clermont-Ferrand. His commercial work has been nominated for the TRUE Award.
