Skilleveien has been a passion project for me since 2017. It was a project that seemed impossible to do, as it was to be shot in Norway and we had to create a whole new story world with loads of costumes, extras and production design on a low budget.

So it feels extremely satisfying to look at the final version of the film today, where all that work from all those people is now unified in a single piece of work. And I can look at it thinking we really did it.

Of course there are many aspects of a project like this that could always have been better, and I can’t help see all the mistakes I’ve made along the way. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that I’m incredibly proud of this film.

I worked on this project for 4 years in total, but in all this time, I always knew I wanted to express a love for a strong and powerful friendship on the screen. This movie is a love letter to my best friend.
